MEMBERSHIP
Joining opens up a whole new world of golf. The LLGA brings together a wide range of women golfers from internationals to club golfers - but all have a common commitment: to enjoy the game. Being a member of the Association gives opportunities to play in matches and competitions, played seriously but not too seriously, in which enjoyment of good company is as important as the result.

Hundred plus members
The Association, which is based in the Home Counties, has approximately 120 members ranging in handicap from single figures to 25 and in age from 24 to mid 80s. Members come from a variety of golf clubs - although being a member of a club isn’t a prerequisite, some are only members of the LLGA.

Membership criteria
The main criterion for membership of the LLGA is being a woman who is herself a member of the legal profession or is related either as a wife, mother, sister, aunt, niece or is otherwise a direct descendant from a Judge, Barrister or Solicitor.
All new members must also have a world handicap index of 25 or less.
New members must be proposed and seconded by existing members. The nominations will then be presented to the Committee for approval.
